Tan… como, tanto… como: Gleichheit ausdrücken

Erklärung

Um auszudrücken, dass zwei Dinge gleich sind, verwendet das Spanische ein „so … wie“-Gefüge, dessen erstes Wort davon abhängt, was verglichen wird. Bei Adjektiven und Adverbien wird das unveränderliche tan … como verwendet: es tan eficiente como su jefe, corre tan rápido como yo.

Bei Substantiven wird tanto … como verwendet, wobei tanto mit dem Substantiv in Genus und Numerus kongruiert: tanto tiempo como, tanta paciencia como, tantos clientes como, tantas opciones como antes. Bei einem Verb steht tanto como dahinter: trabaja tanto como tú.

In der Verneinung tendiert die Konstruktion zur Ungleichheit: no es tan caro como pensaba („nicht so teuer wie gedacht“), no tengo tanto tiempo como antes.
